The Elders

AgeSong's philosophy of giving back to the community and continued growth throughout the senior years has drawn inspiration from many sources. One of the more notable is the global human rights activist group known as The Elders.

The Elders are an independent group of eminent global leaders who offer their collective influence and experience to support the achievement of peace, help address major causes of human suffering, and promote the shared interests of humanity.

Founded by former South African President Nelson Mandela, its members include Kofi Annan, former Secretary General of the United Nations, human rights activist, Ela Bhatt, Desmond Tutu, and former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, among others.
